CWSP Corporate Partner Relationship Coordinator - Job Description

Job Title:   CWSP Corporate Partner Relationship Coordinator

Reports To:   Program Operations Manager, CWSP

Classification:   Salary, Non-Exempt/Full Time

 

Job Summary:
As a member of the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) team, this person will interact with students, school personnel, and Corporate Partner employees to implement the Cristo Rey Work Study Program. In addition, this position requires planning and execution of the job readiness training program (Employment Foundations Academy) during the summer for all new students.   

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with morning check-in process for students
  • Assist in communicating transportation plans to and from work sites to students and families
  • Coach students to be successful in the workplace
  • Meet individually with students at the school and/or at their worksite to ensure students are in a safe work environment and address any workplace issues
  • Meet with corporate partners at least twice a year to review the student workers for individual accounts. Address and enforce all school policies
  • Coordinate support for student illness or emergency while at work.
  • Assist in planning and executing any “special events” with the CWSP Team
  • Assist with daily transportation schedule and logging
  • Follow-up with student workers on any missing work days, providing information on scheduling make-up days
  • Process student employment paperwork
  • Log student payroll and communicate effectively with accounting office and CWSP associates when processing paychecks
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • Strong technical skills, or a desire to learn - MS office, G suite, data entry and reporting
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Experience working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working in an academic setting, nonprofit or customer services
  • Working knowledge of the Portland Metropolitan area

 

Requirements:

   Bachelor’s Degree in business marketing or related field.

   3-5 Years’ Experience

 

Compensation:
