DLSNC builds bridges between Portland companies and communities of color and has launched students into professional careers. Now Covid is straining the corporate partnerships that are central to its success.
PORTLAND, Ore. – (March 17, 2020) – Today, De La Salle North Catholic High School (DLSNC) announced its plans to build a permanent home at its new location at St. Charles Parish at 5310 NE 42nd Ave in Northeast Portland.
Oscar Leong is the third president of DLSNC and comes to us from Cathedral High School, a Lasallian Christian Brothers school in Los Angeles which serves more than 700 young men, primarily from low-income, Latino families.
Read the letter from Jesuit High School President, Thomas D. Arndorfer and Principal, Paul J. Hogan, in support of our Corporate Work Study Program and their ask to consider hiring De La Salle North Catholic students.
Thanks to Angelyn for sharing why a DLSNC education matters to her family and to El Centinela for publishing this piece. "Tiene un programa de trabajo que es único y es la preparatoria privada más diversa de Oregón."
