Resources for dealing with Wildfires and Smoke

While many of our families live in North and Northeast Portland, a number of our families and staff live in outlying areas and are facing potential evacuation from the wildfires. Those of us in N/NE Portland have concerning levels of smoke in their area, which also affects indoor air quality. Please refer to the following website for fact sheets about what do with wildfire smoke in your area, what to take in case you need to evacuate, the affects of smoke on your health, etc. (see the Fact Sheets, which are available in many languages (English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Somali and Vietnamese). https://www.oregon.gov/oha/ph/preparedness/prepare/pages/prepareforwildfire.aspx

Please take care of yourselves and prioritize your safety first! Do not hesitate to reach out to us if these situations are affecting your ability to attend classes or complete schoolwork. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
