The LASALLIAN YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAM involves students from all grade levels in each of the three program areas. Keeping with Lasallian language, the student representatives for each area
are known as Ambassadors and collaborate with other Ambassadors in promoting leadership by
sponsoring programs for student participation relevant to each program area:
AMBASSADORS OF FAITH: 2-3 students from each grade
AMBASSADORS OF SERVICE: 2-3 students from each grade
AMBASSADORS OF COMMUNITY: 2-3 students from each grade
In all, there will be 24-36 ambassadors who will be the animators
for the areas of faith, service and community in the school community.
The goal is that these students will not be the individuals doing
all the work, but will provide the leadership, direction and motivation
for participation by the entire school population. Through the
supervision, guidance and mentoring of adult coordinators, the
Ambassadors will ensure that the programs sponsored throughout
the school in the areas of Faith, Service and Community of the
LASALLIAN YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAM are student generated, lead
and sustained. |
