Program Overview
Lasallian Youth Ministry combines the traditional programs of Campus Ministry, Student Activities, Student
Government, and Volunteer Service. Rather than different, separate, and sometimes competitive programs that
function distinct from each other or attempt to "work with" the "other" programs, Lasallian Youth Ministry
consists of three integral components of one program: Faith, Service and Community Programs.
Ambassadors
Lasallian Youth Ministry involves student from all grade levels in each of the three program areas. Keeping with Lasallian tradition, the student
representatives for each area are known as Ambassadors and collaborate with other Ambassadors in promoting leadership by sponsoring
programs for student participation relevant to each program area: Faith Service, and Community

Other Responsibilities:
In addition to serving classmates in the areas of faith, service and community building activities such as basketball and dodge-ball tournaments.
The Executive Council is comprised of Ambassadors in the 11th and 12th grades. They determine the agenda of the weekly LYM meetings, meet
with School Administrators and ensure that the Ambassadors act as representatives of teir constituents.
Ambassadors meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7am. Attendance is mandatory and you will receive an elective credit for your participation.
Lasallian Student Leaders:
Lasallian Student Leaders provides any student an opportunity to serve the DLSNC
Community. These students form committees that address students' needs, create new events, and work with Ambassadors. Students may enroll
for elective credit or drop in to help any time
Most importantly, every student at DLSNC is a member of Lasallian Youth Ministry. Every student has the opportunity to get involved by reading at Masses, serving meals Downtown, setting up for a dance or organizing students to raise awareness.
