STOCK/SECURITIES
The easiest way to gift securities to De La Salle North Catholic is by instructing your broker to make an electronic transfer to De La Salle's stock broker. Please click on the information below and share with your broker to ensure that your gift transfer to De La Salle is in a timely and accurate manner.
GIFTS OF APPRECIATED PROPERTY OR SECURITIES
In most instances, highly appreciated propertly such as securities or real estate is deductible at their current fair market value. With a low basis, such gifts provide the donor with a large charitable deduction at low
cost. Those who have such gifts in mind can
simply deed over a home or farm to the school during their lifetime, continue to live in it the rest of
their lives, and enjoy a sizable income tax deduction for making their gift.

PLANNED GIVING: De La Salle's Legacy Society
Those who remember De La Salle in their wills, bequests and other estate gifts such as life insurance, annuities, remainder trusts,
etc. are vital to preserving the future of De La Salle North Catholic High School.
Legacy Society memebers include those who have indicated in writing that they have made provisions for De La Salle North Catholic High School
in their estate plans. Unless otherwise directed by the donor, estate gifts are placed in one of De La Salle's endowment funds where the principal is never spent.
Instead, the funds earn interest, which provides income to De La Salle North Catholic High School in
perpetuity, helping future generations
In addition to being a meaningful gift to De La Salle, "planned giving" helps to reduce or eliminate taxes on capital gains and
federal estate taxes. Please check with your financial planner or
accountant for more details on arranging for a planned gift, and the
personal benefits associated with that charitable gift.
